1. No Data Collection

TerminalVEX does NOT collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data on our servers.
We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
We do not have user accounts, databases, or server-side storage of any kind.
We do not track your usage, commands, or learning progress on our servers.

2. Local Storage Only

All your data (name, preferences, lesson progress, API key) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage.
This data never leaves your device.
You can delete all stored data at any time by clearing your browser data or using the "camp reset-profile" command.

3. AI Provider Communication

When you use TerminalVEX, your messages are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you chose (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, or OpenRouter).
Your API key is stored only in your browser and is sent directly to the AI provider — it never passes through our servers.
We do not have access to your API key or your conversations with the AI.
Please review the privacy policy of your chosen AI provider for how they handle your data.

4. Virtual Terminal

The terminal in TerminalVEX is a simulation running entirely in your browser using JavaScript.
No commands are executed on any server. Everything runs locally.
The virtual filesystem exists only in your browser's memory and is reset when you refresh.

5. Advertising

We may display ads through Google AdSense.
Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

6. Third-Party Links

TerminalVEX may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
